Pit Stop in the Park - Aboriginal Men's Health Check Program

Pit Stop in the Park is a health check program funded by the Collaborative Centre for Aboriginal Health Promotions for Aboriginal Men. The program is delivered by our Male Aboriginal Health Worker as an outreach service at varying locations throughout our service area.  Aboriginal men can drop in to the Galambila Marquee and have blood pressure, BGL, Height & Weight and prostrate screenings.  If required further follow-up is provided and participants are referred to their local G.P. Aboriginal men who participate in the program are issued with a Health Promotion Bag of goods and are asked to complete a program evaluation form. Galambila‚Äôs Male Aboriginal Health Worker runs 4 programs a year. For further information on this program please contact Jim Hurley (AHW) on 02 6652 0800 or email jhurley@galambila.org.au
